When I first started playing basketball, I was 6, playing recreational ball at my local park. When I started that season I wasn't the best player there, but I knew that this was the sport I wanted to keep doing and pursuing. Heading into the 7th grade I started to have thoughts of going to college to play basketball and kept having that as my goal for life. I've always been noticed for my defense and anticipate the pass out of traps for steals, and really take pride in on-ball defense. I hustle a lot and have been told of having a non-stop motor, on offense I'm a spot up shooter and like the contact of driving in to the hoop. I try to be a leader wanting to take my team to win games, be competitive and get everyone involved. I always want to get better and work hard to make it far, and working to be the best player out there.
Off the court, I focus on school to get good grades and maintain my high GPA. I also like to be very active and keep myself busy by joining club teams or skateboard when I have the chance.
As excited as I am to play on the court, I have the same excitement as going to class. I want to find a suiting college for me that brings great competition and pushes me hard to better myself as a basketball player and as a student. I'm open to any options that they have for me and hope to bring the drive for the team and make my family and peers proud.
