Misha Reiss '20 Recruiting Profile

I’ve been playing basketball since I was 5 years old. Both of my parents were really into basketball so I was exposed to basketball from a very young age. From playing basketball, I discovered my competitive nature which motivates me to always give my all, both on the court and in the classroom.

Academically, I challenge myself with a rigorous class schedule, including multiple AP classes, while pushing myself to maintain a 4.0 GPA. I’m looking for a college that values academics as much as athletics and will help me grow both intellectually and athletically.

On the court, I’m a versatile player, playing various positions on the court, as needed by my coaches. Defensively, I am comfortable guarding multiple positions. Offensively, I was my varsity team’s leading 3-point shooter and earned all-league honorable mention in the ultra-competitive Western League as a Sophomore.

I believe that I possess qualities that will help your program succeed. I’m always pushing to improve my game both mentally and physically and looking for ways to help the team get better as a whole. I strive to have a high basketball intelligence and enjoy studying game film and listening to coaches’ analyses of games. As a leader, I pride myself in modeling a strong work ethic and being a good teammate.
