Whenever I touch foot upon a basketball court; I hear the sharp noise of the dribble, I see the stillness of the rim, I feel my body's fluidity that feels like Im floating down a river. Until the ball is in, I am in a meditative state of pure focus which is how I describe my game, tranquil. When the ball game begins, I see the game for what it is reading each play as it goes by in matters of seconds. Play after play, I am checking for mistakes, mental blockages, experimenting with the ball I am gifted to have in my hands.
As a point guard, I always pay attention to the chemistry I have with my teammates. If I can get my team's spirit's up, whether it be through making a play with my big or diming off of an iso play, the easier it will be for the team to win. My only priority is winning and I'll get it by any means necessary. When I play for a team, I trust the coaching staff and their willingness to win because we are a unit. Wherever I go, I am aware that I will have to go through a lot in order to become a championship-caliber team and I can say that I am ready for that.
