I am a 2022 graduating senior playing at the point guard position. I have played on varsity for two years and am a starter this year playing point guard. Since I was a young kid I have always known I wanted to play basketball. It is a dream of mine to not only thrive playing basketball in college but also put the effort into the school work as well. I have put countless hours working on all parts of my game since I started playing basketball. Colleges wouldn't have to worry about my academics because I have a 4.4 gpa taking multiple honors and AP classes throughout high school. Before my senior season I broke my wrist which was a major set-back. I had to miss half of my pre-season games. I worked extremely hard to heal my wrist. Many hours of physical therapy eventually got me back. I had to adapt on the fly and learn how to lead my team since we did not have a lot of varsity returners. My coaches would say that my court IQ and the effort I give puts me at an advantage against other recruits.
