Colton Wirth '15 Recruiting Profile

During 7th Grade, I posted the goal of playing college basketball in my room. I live by the motto “rise & grind" which helps me win the day both on and off the court. I practice & play games like “someone always watching”. My parents support my passion 110% and recently put a sign in my room, WHY NOT YOU?!?  I am open to all college options, seeking the right fit to make an impact and be part of something bigger.

On the court, I am a big and strong wing type SF / SG with range and ability to create for myself making others around me better. I defend hard including a SF, SG or even the post. I am warrior-like tough and not afraid to get a rebound or post up a smaller guy, take a charge or get on the floor for loose balls. My greatest assets are my ability to shoot the ball, a proven leader and will do what it takes to get on the floor.

Off the court, I value friendships and show up for the kids in my Recreation Leader role with the local Parks & Rec. I work hard at school and love the results. I have been taught to stay humble and put family 1st which also includes teammates, coaches and other staff.
