Emmanuel Grandison '18 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to take my basketball talents to the next level. I am very committed to the sport that I love to play. I have been playing since I was 11 and I love every minute of it. I love staying in the gym after hours to get up extra shots. I am honest enough to say that I do struggle in school, my parents have helped me, and they have gotten me a tutor so I can understand what my teachers are teaching. I want college coaches to know what I bring to their team, and that is a hard work ethic with a winning attitude. Coming from Oceanside High School in California, I am very aware that most basketball players do not come from Oceanside. I had a chance to play with William Christmas who is now playing basketball at the Air Force Academy. I would love to continue on and be the next basketball player to come from of Oceanside High School. I am a very positive young man, who is always trying to get his teammates involved the best way I can. I always ask questions so I can understand a play that is being ran, or trying to be ran. My goal is really just to play at the next level and show college coaches that I am worth the look. I am very open with my teammates, I love being able to sit down with my coaches, and give them suggestions from a player stand point. My teammates always help me, and I for one believe that I make my teammates better on and off the basketball court.  I am blessed to be put in a good financial situation that benefits me to go, and pay. I don't take anything, I was raised to earn and work for what I want. I have dream colleges that every kid wants to go to, but I know I will be happy with any school that would take me in and allow me to play for their program, and let me represent their school.
