My goals for college is to get into a university or four-year school that will be offering a scholarship for me to play basketball along with my major in education, business or nursing. Getting into a good college that helps to support my academics and athletics will help me prove and convey my knowlegde not only in the classroom but on the court. My aspirations for college is to finish in four years with a degree in education, business or nursing along with continuing to play basketball not just for my college but professionally. I am a good candidate for your team because I'm devoted, I put my team before myself and I'm focused on always improving my teammates and myself before each game. I will be a good impact on the team by showing positive attributes to my teammates and coaches along with keeping a good attitude on and off the court. I am a different character from other recruits because I'm patient and open-minded with others due to having a special needs brother who constantly works my communication skills and my ability to work with others. Having these characteristics helps me in athletics by allowing myself to understand the changes I need to make that my coaches are instructing me to do and keeping my mind focused on the game of basketball. I am able to push myself to make sure I'm finishing with top grades in academics and continue to meet the goals I have set. I will be a leader to your team by helping my teammates to get better along with myself so that we are working together throughout our games and not as individuals. Being a leader means that I am pushing those around me and myself to make sure we are the best we can be in our performance and giving more than 100% of ourselves in practices and games which make me a good candidate to join your team.
