I am a senior at Chadwick School in Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA. I been on the varsity basketball team since freshman year. As a junior, I led the team in points, 2pt FG %, and steals/deflections.
My strength is my quickness on both sides of the floor. My ability to drive in creates easy opportunities for my teammates, and I play stout, disruptive defense. However, my greatest strength is my leadership, attitude and composure. I try to lead by example through my hustle/effort and always encourage my teammates on and off the court.
I am also a 3 year starter for my high school varsity baseball team playing middle infield and outfield. As a sophomore, I had the 2nd highest team batting average at .356 and was ranked 10th in my league.
I excel in the classroom, achieving a 3.8/4.0 GPA and have been on the honor roll every semester taking the most rigorous subjects our school offers. I am active in leadership roles participating in Chadwick's athletic council, peer mentors, community service and other various clubs. I am a board member for Hanah Scholarship Foundation that sponsors underprivileged female students from Africa, Asia & Europe to Ewha University in Seoul, South Korea, and I am an active member of my church youth group.
I have an extremely positive mindset and always see the glass half full, looking for ways to make it overflow.
