Personal Statement
The way I was raised I've always had the outlook of "school comes first." I understand the importance of education and the opportunities it brings, but along with this I've developed desire to play basketball. This passion has led to my time commitment towards more basketball, but my primary efforts revolve around making sure my work done in the classroom is done on time and with accuracy. However, once I make sure my educational work is complete, my focus shifts to the basketball court where I try to give it everything I have every time I step out on to the court. My willingness to listen and comply for the team's needs are the traits I feel separate me from others.
