Hi coaches, I want to start off by saying thank you if you are reading my personal statement. As a freshman I had the opportunity to play varsity, I excepted the challenge and realized this is where I should be. As our season progressed I seen how I improved as a point guard and also helped make my teammates better. This coming season as a sophomore I want to work on being more vocal on and off the court in a positive and encouraging manner. I attended PGC this summer and Coach Coston really emphasized leadership, talking to teammates, helping each other verbally, is one of the obvious differences between good players and mediocre ones.
Sophomore year has came and gone so fast. Proud of my efforts this year and being the only underclassman to be awarded the 1st team all-league in the Sac-Joaquin Section for the 2017-2018 season.
Junior year as well has came and gone so fast. This has been by far my best year yet. I had several media write ups to include being identified as a Top Prospect in Northern CA. I averaged over 20 PPG, 5 APG, and 4 steal per game. I was nominated MVP for all our pre-season tournaments. Also, I was awarded 1st team all league in my conference and 3rd team Sac Metro. Finally, I was nominated as Channel 13 CBS's Athlete of the Month Jan 2019.
My goals outside of basketball is to pursue a college education at a top ranked college for academics.
