My name is Nate Lewit, Basketball is my passion and I love the game. My most important accomplishments were being voted first team all league as well as MVP for my high school as a sophomore. I am also very proud of the fact that I have improved so much in basketball in such a short time. I did not start playing basketball until 6th grade and I started out as a forward. In just a matter of years, through dedication, I've transitioned into a true guard and lead both my High School and AAU team in most statistical categories.
I know I am capable of playing at the next level and if given the opportunity I can make a big impact on a team. Although I am only 6 feet tall I have built other parts of my game up so my height does not effect how I play. I work out using weights almost 5 times a week so I can't be bullied off the ball. I am also extremely athletic and can out jump most players taller than me. Last I have worked on ball handling a lot and change of pace so I can shift past bigger defenders with ease.
For college I am mainly looking at west coast states ( California, Washington, Oregon, Arizona) but I am very open to going anywhere. I am open minded about colleges and hope to just find a college that fits me best. It doesn't matter about the size or location; if I can receive a good education and play Basketball I will be happy. My top two choices for a major as of right now is either Kinesiology or Sports Science.
My goal is to play basketball at the highest level possible for myself. I mainly want to be the best me possible whether that is on the court or off. Knowing that I gave it my all and tried to be the best version of myself so I can help my teammates is what makes me happy.
