Tayden Collins '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Tayden I am a student athlete in the class 2024. I love the game of basketball and would love the opportunity to play the next level, while continuing my education.

One of my biggest inspirations is my grandpa (Pops), he came to America from Aruba, he was an amazing athlete, mentor, and man of God! He taught me to always set goals and do whatever it takes to meet them, as well as to be positive and bless others when I could. 

When it comes to basketball I pride myself on being an all-around player, contributing to my teams success anyway I can. I can play all positions and believe in good defense. My AAU coach has a motto, “Defense wins championships” and I believe in that! I’ve been told I have good basketball IQ and court vision. I am always looking to improve my skills and get better.

I love to be around the game whether it is a high school game, AAU tournaments, or volunteering with the younger kids at a tryout or clinic. I look forward to setting new goals and working toward them.
