Coach I’m a Golden State Prep Post Grad student athlete in Napa CA looking to join a highly competitive college team. I have set a goal to play college basketball at a high level. I am a small town kid from the Midwest that has spent the last eight summers with my dad playing and training on the West Coast in the Oakland Bay Area developing my skill set and toughness. I’m mixed with black and white, embrace both my cultures and value diversity!
I few things that make me stand out is how coachable I am and how hard I work in the classroom and on the court. I've been on the Honor Roll all four years of HS, chosen Student of the Year twice, volunteered in my CA and ND communities over ten years, and value service. As a sophomore I received the 6th Man and Most Improved Awards and named to the All-Region and All District Teams as a junior. As a senior I was named team captain and to the 44th ND State Lions All Star Team.
I bring a very skilled, versatile game and I can score from multiple spots on the floor (3PT, Mid Range, Post). I am also a great leader in big games. When the stakes get higher my game rises too! I put up a Triple Double and two Double Doubles and was named Player of the Week by Prep Hoops to finish my junior year regular season. I finished my junior year post season as the leading scorer and rebounder in our Region Championship win to make it to the State Tournament (Canceled COVID 19) . At my senior year state tournament I finished in the Top 10 in 8 individual stats: 2nd Blocks, 3rd Assist, 3rd FT% 92%, 3rd FT Made (12), 4th Rebs, 6th Steals, and 10th in PPG.
I come from a winning culture at Golden State Prep Post Grad (32-6), and in High School, with a 79% winning percentage in 169 games played in HS & AAU (2018-21). I was a key contributor in back to back Region Championships (11th/12th), and three straight District Championships and put up 12 points, 15 rebounds, 4 assist, 5 steals and 2 blocks in a AAU Championship game win in California.
I‘m looking for a program that values teamwork, player development, diversity, my ability to obtain a college degree and winning. I’m a great fit for your culture!
Sincerely,
Isaiah Bundy-Smith
