Roman Garcia '27 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Roman Garcia I'm now playing for my high school Prospect Ridge Academy where the majority of my courses are honors level. I started on my "C" team (freshman) and was swinging for JV; however, I was quickly moved up to play full-time on JV. Currently, I am not on the starting line-up; however, at the last JV game I played three-fourths of it as the point guard. I continue to work on my skills to make the starting line-up. Since being brought over to JV my coach has had me start in scrimmages and demonstrate his plans and plays for the team. I moved up so quickly from the Prospect Ridge "C" team to JV because of my basketball IQ, my integrity, and how well I direct and support my teammates on the court and on the side.

My current focus is to continue with JV and further enhance and grow my skills to eventually be playing for the varsity team during my junior and senior year. After high school, I strive to play college basketball and obtain a degree in veterinarian medicine.
