Daryn Whisman '20 Recruiting Profile

Since being the first player in school history to be selected for the varsity as a freshman, I have continued to work diligently on the court, in the weight room and, of course, in the classroom. I have started as point guard for my team since my sophomore year, just finished my junior season and have begun my off-season program and camp planning. I was also selected for the state all-star game my sophomore and junior year. This year, in the all star game, I was a first team starter at point guard and had 14 points. I was also first team all state and had 16 points. I continue to work hard in the classroom and currently have a 3.4 GPA. 

During the season, I had the great fortune of being a part of a great program, full of amazing people who want nothing more than to see players succeed both on and off the court. Once again, I had the disctinct honor of being a part of something bigger than myself and the lessons that came with it.

I am looking for a program that will challenge me both academically and athletically. Additionally, I look forward to using my leadership skills, work ethic, character and pride at the next level for a program that will allow me to learn and grow as an individual and an athlete.
