Derrian Reed '18 Recruiting Profile

    As a young kid, I fell in love with basketball. I just love how there are multiple ways to play the game. I just love learning new things to improve my game even more. One goal I had was to make my parents proud, seeing me play in a college basketball uniform. The one thing that I will always remember is that my grandpa told me that he wanted to see me play high school and college basketball when I get older. But sadly, he passed away when I was in middle school and I couldn't make his dream come true. So, every basketball game I play for now on, I will always be playing for him. I know he is seeing me succeed in life and I appreciate everything he has done for me. If I could go to college and get a college education and play the game that I love, my dream will come true.
