William Toney '23 Recruiting Profile

My desire to play basketball at a great university while pursuing my college degree. I played football, soccer, track, and baseball growing up.  I developed a love for basketball as I grew older.  Basketball has taught me to be a person better.  Through basketball, I have learned to overcome adversity in life and bounce back from obstacles.  I am inspired by my parents, who both serve in the military.  They have instilled in me discipline and a hard work ethic.  As a military child, I have traveled all over the world. I have been to Germany, Italy, Greece, and all over the United States.  I have had to learn to deal with different environments as we moved and make new friends.   I have developed friendships with other kids whose parents are military as well.  I have seen my parents deployments to danger zones to serve our great nation and appreciate what our servicemen do for America.  I want to be an asset to a team to become a national champion.
