2017 HighlightsPersonal Statement
As a young athlete, I participated in a variety of different sports including hockey, soccer, baseball, lacrosse and of course basketball. I have learned over the years that basketball is my true passion in life. I believe that basketball is my favorite sport because of the team aspect. Basketball stands out because if all 5 players on the court are not able to work together then the team will not have success. I am a very coachable player that is always looking for new ways to improve myself and the people around me. I have been a captain all of my high school career and really embrace having a leadership role. I believe that education will open lots of doors for me beyond my school career which is why I believe in being a student first and an athlete second. I am very family oriented and love to be around other people. I love to compete but hate to lose and this drives me to work on my skills everyday so I can become the best that I can.
