Cristian Brown '16 Recruiting Profile

I have been been dribbling a basketball since I was a toddler, and I have been playing competitively since I was 6 years old.  I have been passionate about basketball ever since, and have desired to play at the college level for as long as I can remember.  One of my most memorable moments was being a ball boy at an NC State UNC basketball game watching my cousin play, who has always been and continues to be a major role model in my life. I have a very strong basketball IQ and have always been a leader on the court where I continually try to inspire my teammates.  One of my best qualities that I possess is strong ball handling skills, as well as the passion to continuously strive to get better.    

Off the court, I study hard and maintain a good GPA.  I also coach youth recreational basketball, youth basketball clinics and I referee as well.  I am committed to training physically and I constantly work on my skills.

My desire is to attend a college where I can succeed on and off the court.  I would ultimately like to find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible.  I hope to become a very successful student and athlete, as well as a great role model to my peers and make my parents and family proud.
