My dream is to play College Basketball at the highest level and really contribute to the team. I have been doing that now for years in terms of contributing to teams and constantly improving my game. I started with AAU in Greenwich, CT. (Greenwich Stars) 12 and 13 years old, then started playing with my formal high school varsity team as a freshman, up-leveled my game by joining an NYC-based AAU team (We Got Next NYC) at 14 years, and making a big transition to IMG boarding school last year at 15. Although IMG was a big move for me and it is difficult to be away from home my love for basketball trumps it.
I play because I love it and I want to be able to make a living off of basketball when I am older. My parents worked very hard to help put me in the position I am in today and I am working as hard as I can, so they won’t have to work at all. I play for my teammates and coaches as well as they invest time in me to make me better, I want to put in maximum effort to win for them.
I am an only child and my parents live in NY. I was born in Australia, and then we moved to the US when I was a baby. My Dad is German, and my Mom is American. From Kindergarten through 9th grade, I attended the German School of NY, which is a very rigorous curriculum. I speak fluent German and English and semi-fluent Spanish and Mandarin. I have been studying Chinese since I was 5. I also love languages, culture and diversity.
I take pride in my leadership skill, basketball IQ and being one of the first people in the gym before practice and one of the last ones to leave.
