Hello, I am Nick Stavesky.
I have been playing organized basketball starting at age 6 for the Groton city league. I did this every year till I aged out at 14 years old. This was a league of about 8 teams per year where I grew up playing the best talent in our city. I worked with a personal coach with 1 on1 training to make sure my shot continues to improve. I played my first 2 high school years for Grasso Technical High School , where I attended for 9th and 10th grade. These were two Covid affected seasons and I look forward to my first regular season at Fitch high school where I have transferred for my last two high school years. I have played two seasons of AAU, my first was at age 14- filling in on a 16-17 year old team where I would regularly start for CT Rise . This year I played for New England Nightmare. I also play Football, have been on the cross country team, and track and field where I run the 800m and 4 by 4 and 4 by 1 relays. My favorite sport is still basketball and I work hard to get better. I am a good teammate, I practice hard and I know my grades are important. I like hitting the weight room and I know how important cardio is for my game.
