I am Eric R. Day II, a student athlete and recruiting prospect out of Norwalk, CT. I am a good student and I have a passion for competing at the highest levels. I have been playing the game of basketball since I was 5 years old in Okinawa, Japan. Although I am a scoring point guard I pride myself on finding the open man and getting my teammates involved. Moreover, I love the defensive end of the floor and I have a passion for being a lock down defender. While I am only 5’9, I have the unique ability to defend taller and quicker players by understanding floor spacing and funneling players towards my help. I think the game and try to stay one step ahead of my defender. I am a Floor General who plays under control taking what the defense gives me. I have elite ball handling skills which allow me to get to the basket and finish, pull-up for a jump shot or draw in defenders to get my teammates an open shot. I have played against some of the best competition throughout the world and I am confident I could be an essential element of a team wanting to compete at the highest level.
