David Shockley '16 Recruiting Profile

I'm grateful for every opportunity I have to learn.
I'm very thankful for my parents - they have worked hard to expose me to great opportunities.
I look forward to receiving a Bachelor's degree in Communications (or Education).
I love challenges and, most importantly, I love the feeling of conquering them.
I'm a young man of faith - very active in my father's church, Jesus Love Temple of Milford, DE.
I help him at the church in the audio/visual ministry and, also, volunteer at the local Food Bank.
Basketball has been a passion of mine since I was 2 - I look forward to playing in college.

The first marking period of my senior year, I'm taking AP Chemistry, AP Literature, and AP Statistics - and I love it!
I'm carrying a 3.3 GPA and I'm currently ranked 86 out of 229 in my senior class. I got a 1310 on my SAT but I'm retaking
it next month (October). 

I'm a great listener - a student of the game. I'm respectful, hardworking and relentless. I'm a team player and leader on and off the court.
I just need a chance - I believe you'll like me
