Being a phenomenal student athlete has been a lifelong priority of mine up to this point and will continue to be as I look forward to the future. I have always understood the fact that nothing will be handed to me, and that if I wanted to succeed then I would have to work for what I believe I deserved out of life. This fundamental principle that I live by is what drives my academic and athletic achievements. Regardless of the obstacles, I believe that through my dedication and desire that all things are possible.

My transition into high school was a test of my resilience and discipline. I made a commitment to my future, and I valued that over any distractions that could get in my way. I gave the teachers and my coaches everything I had to offer everyday I walked in. I always kept an open mind to constructive criticism and let it make me, not break me. But it wouldn’t be right to credit my strong work ethic to myself alone, because without my supportive parents by my side none of my accomplishments would be attainable.
