2022 Highlights Personal Statement
I am Langston Davis, 5th-generation native of Washington, DC rooted in a strong Black Catholic family. I am passionate, self-motivated and determined on and off the court. I am a Jack Kent Cooke Young Scholar and currently maintain 1st honors at Gonzaga College High School ('25) for whom I have been a proud member of the Freshman Summer League, Freshman, Junior Varsity Summer League, Junior Varsity, and Varsity Summer League Basketball teams. I play for the Tru2Form AAU team coached by Kenji Morgan and Jim O'Brien; I train privately with Coach Phoenix Butler-Poole in basketball. In the spring of 2023, I joined my high school's track & field team participating in varsity High Jump, Long Jump, Triple Jump, 4 x 100 Relay, 55-meter, 100-meter, and 200-meter dash.
I am honored to be in the company of great team members and to be led by stellar coaches. I seek feedback from trusted coaches and team members as I strive to be a better player everyday. I love to learn and I love the brothers I have gained through school and sports! I will bring the same energy and drive to my future endeavors and partnerships.
