To me, basketball represents a path to success, a way to fulfill my dream of playing a sport I love in a professional capacity. To continue on this journey, I aspire to be part of a Division One Collegiate Program that is also driven by success.
I’ve had a basketball in my hands since I was 5 years old and each year my passion for the game has grown. I have found that the most important part of basketball for me is teamwork. Driving towards a common goal with my teammates inspires me to contribute to the best of my abilities across all offensive and defensive aspects of the game.
I am a coachable player, willing to continuously learn and find ways to improve in order to reach my full potential. I approach each workout, practice and game as an opportunity to make me a better player and contributor on the court. Strengths I will bring to college ball are my ability to synergize with teammates and my knowledge and love of the game.
My current Prep. School Coach Lester Stewart at DME Sports Academy in Daytona Beach, FL describes me as "a skilled forward who can shoot the 3 w/range. Inside/outside threat. Can switch defensively & has a knack for blocking shots.”
I recognize that schoolwork is also important. I graduated high school with an interest in sports finance and management. At a collegiate level school I hope to pursue these interests and further explore sports in an academic setting. A career related to sports is the perfect combination of my academic and athletic aspirations. I know that a D1 school will challenge me and allow me to grow, and I am ready to begin this part of the journey towards success.
