I am hopeful to have the opportunity to continue my love for basketball at the collegiate level while pursuing a degree to transition into adulthood. I currently would like to earn a degree in sports medicine, or athletic training. I'm aware that may change with exploration, but that is currently what I'm interested in. I pride myself in honoring the way I've been raised with good moral values and character. I consider myself to have a very strong work ethic. Basketball is year round, there is no off-season. I work with my coaches to train in the off season, and train on my own daily. I know all the little things that have to be done right as well, like eating like an athlete, good sleep habits, working on mental toughness, maintaining good behavior and good character on and off the court, having good sportsmanship with team mates, coaches, and opponents, maintaining good grades, learning as much as possible, and being coachable.
