I was never the athletic kid growing up, but once I got to 6th grade, everything changed. I got cut from the middle school basketball team. I couldn’t accept that, so I worked hard to make it the next year, and I did. Making the team was not enough for me. I needed to be the best, so I worked even harder. I became the best basketball player on the team by the next year and started playing varsity as well as junior varsity. I fell in love with the game and the work that goes into it. I always try to make myself and others better at what we do. That’s in everything I do; no matter what, me and my crew will become better, if not the best.
