As far as I can remember, I have been around the game. My mother is a basketball coach. My father played football, baseball and basketball. My grandfather is one of the winningest basketball coaches in the state of Tennessee. I am a gym rat. I have played organized basketball since I was 5 years old. I love basketball. I enjoy playing the game and as the years go by, I have developed a dream to play on the collegiate level.
I am working on my game. I am getting better day by day. I am a great ball-handler, facilitator, slasher and shooter. I want to be the best teammate I can be. I have learned to love to play defense because it helps my offense.
In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family and friends. I enjoy working with my grandfather in the yard. He owns his own landscaping business and I hope to earn money to help with my summer expenses.
Lastly, I care about my education. I like to be challenged - I think it helps me to work harder and improve. I would like to graduate from a program in three years. I realize I cannot play basketball forever.
It is my goal to play for a competitive division I basketball program. To accomplish that goal, I am working everyday to become a better person and player. I will continue to make school a priority.
