Growing up in a children's home has taught me so many lessons that I use in my life today. The biggest lessoned they taught me was when I accepted Jesus as my personal Savior. He has changed my life and keeps me going every day. They have also taught me to be a leader, a family, and to work as hard as I can. These lessons have taught me to lead both on and off the court. Another critical moment in my life is when my 17-year-old sister had two strokes, and a year later my 14-year-old brother passed away. These tragic events have pushed me to strive to be the best for me and my family.
I am blessed to start my Senior year of basketball and lead my team, the Hope Eagles. I've been playing ever since I was young, and I love every moment of it. My aspirations are to play in college and to excel both academically and in my basketball career. I want to study physical therapy while I'm starting on your basketball team. I will put all of my heart, soul, and mind into everything I do. I strive to get better every day and won’t settle for good. I hope you consider me to be on your team!
