Devon Sweat '22 Recruiting Profile

    Hello my name is Devon Sweat, I believe I am a good point guard candidate because I strive to make everyone better on and off the court. I have always taken pride in my leadership abilities, and took a leadership class to improve my abilities. Off the court I am a straight A student at a very demanding private school. On the court I enjoy keeping a positive but serious environment. I enjoy the environment of a team and personally enjoy leading them as well. In terms of my character I care about my relationships with others and try to develop a bond with players and coaches. In terms of athletics, I have played competitive sports my whole life. I played soccer, tennis and basketball, but I fell in love with basketball. I have faced 2 injuries in my high school basketball career. While I was already dedicated to my love of the game, I feel these experiences have improved my dedication.  Academically I am a straight A student and haven't had below a 4.0 GPA my entire academic journey. My education is very important to me and I hold it to a high standard myself.
