My goals and aspirations are to obtain a college scholarship, play hard and to showcase the best of my abilities for my team and earn a college degree. Two months after my first year of college at Lander two of the most important people in my life my Mother was rediagnosed with breast cancer then two months after that my Grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer and lung cancer and it was so devastating to me that I couldn't focus but after spending time with them and knowing they are doing great by the grace of God. Now my focus and how my life is going has made me more responsible and a better forgiving and very humble person with the upmost respect for myself and my peers. I am a dedicated and very determined athlete with ambition to make even though I've been told I wouldn't because of my size but I excel above all my opponents that are bigger and taller than me in all sports that I participated in like football, basketball and track. My Mother has always been my biggest supporter and critic with me playing sports because she taught me. In academics I am a very intelligent student with the ability to excel if I apply myself and that's why I plan on obtaining a better gpa so that I achieve my academic goal as a student/athlete. I have my permission letter from Lander University as well.
Thank you and God bless!
