Omari Mitchell '14 Recruiting Profile

My dream is to become a professional broadcaster. I’ve envisioned myself anchoring for ESPN or some other professional sport’s reporting network. To achieve this, I aspire to attend a university, majoring in Communications. A major component of attending a Division 1 school, is fulfilling my goal to attend on an academic and athletic scholarship. Playing college basketball is one of my greatest dreams. Envisioning me running out of a collegiate tunnel, playing college basketball would mean the world. More importantly, I envision College as the opportunity to help prepare me to function and survive in the outside world. I plan to obtain the best education possible to ultimately become a productive citizen. I hope to mentor youth and give back to my community. With God’s grace, I know I’ll become a success.
