Denilson is a shifty lead guard who can handle the rock and uses his handle to get to his spots on the floor. He did a good job orchestrating and keeping his team in flow throughout their games. He does a good job breaking down the defense off the bounce as he lived in the paint. He is a trustworthy lead guard who has good court awareness and knows where the ball should go. He showed his ability to knock down the trey ball when he was left open, which is needed from the PG.

Denilson Torres was slicing and dicing through defenses all afternoon on his way to a ton of buckets. Torres is a skilled little point guard that loves to get into the teeth of the defense where he can utilize shot fakes and floaters. He’s got a tight handle and natural playmaking insticts. The next step for Torres is learning to control the pace and direct traffic so we’ll need to see him play more in team enviroments. While he may see limited run with Norcross this year, Denilson Torres is one to keep on the radar.
