My present goals are to first, improve my grades academically because, I know I’m a better student than my current grades reflect secondly, I want to improve my overall game of basketball. To accomplish these goals I have acquired a tutor who will tutor me the remainder of this academic year and I will be taking SAT and ACT prep courses from now through my schedule test date. I have also enlisted the services of a personal trainer for basketball and a speed, agility, strength and conditioning coach. After high school I wish to attend a well-rounded college or university that will continue to shape by foundation while allowing me to play the game of basketball at the collegiate level.
I desire to pursue either the field of Business or Sports Management. I am interested in a school that will help prepare me for life after college and basketball and one that is aligned with my core values. I am also interested in a competitive athletic program. I currently play on the boys’ varsity team at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic High School, coached by Tony Caruso and former NBA player Charlie Criss. I play with a highly competitive Atlanta Hoop Starz club team during the spring and summer.
I’m a leader amongst my peers. I’m a very quick and versatile player who can play the point or shooting guard positions. My quickness is most effective in pushing the ball up the court in transition offense and as a defender.
I’m viewed as a hard-working team player as the point guard I always think pass versus shoot to get my teammates involved early so the team as a whole is successful. I have been Student Athlete of the week, MVP for my Club Team. I volunteer at a food bank packing and serving meals to the needy. I also volunteer with Big Heart ATL, by packing accessories for the homeless. I’m a usher and choir member of Life Pointe Church. I’m on an academic mission to improve my grade so that I can become a recruit for some of the most academically competitive schools.
