Jadyn Benson '22 Recruiting Profile

I am Jadyn Benson.  I am currently a Senior at Mt Carmel High School in Chicago, IL. I am a 6’4” 175 lbs. combo guard with a wing span ____(6’6”).  I have a 3.1 GPA and will be a full qualifier. My household consists of my mother, sister, and myself. We have a very close family.

I have taken this time during the pandemic to focus on improvement. While remaining on the Honor Roll I have increased all my workout times. I’m putting the time in. With the delayed season I have been able to fine tune my skills. This upcoming season is a great opportunity for me to showcase my talent.

Obtaining a college degree is the main goal. In my family we are students first. I have an interest in liberal arts. I plan on advancing my playing to the next level. Wherever that may be. I have prepared for this moment ever since I first started playing in 3rd grade.  I am a leader, motivator, and have the drive to win. My coaches would agree that I have a “ca do” attitude. Hard work is in my DNA.
