My name is Will Clark, and I love basketball!  I am a combo guard for Tift County High School Blue Devils in Tifton, Georgia.  I transferred to TCHS last year as a junior and was fortunate to start all varsity games the last two seasons.  My coaches chose to have me start at the 2 and 3, but also had me sub in at all 5 positions on the court my junior year.  I am grateful to have learned more about the game from different perspectives in a positionless scheme.  I also love defense, and I have become more aggressive on the court from that side of the ball.

Getting better with every opportunity is the goal.  I have participated in several exposure camps, tournaments, and on-campus elite camps, as well as three years of AAU.   I also play intramural basketball at ABAC where I am a dual enrollment student.  Our team won the championship last season and again this season.  With two AAU tournament championships, two ABAC championships, PGC camp, and increased weight training, my skills and confidence have grown, and I have had an amazing senior year!

Last season I was honored to receive the BATE DAWG  "Mr. Hustle" Award from our coaching staff for my no excuses, give -it-all, positive attitude.  I give 100% every time I'm on the court for practice and games.  This year I was chosen as the Offensive Player of the Year.  I am looking for the opportunity to play at a competitive level under a coach who can help me develop my skills over my college career.  My goal is to be the solid, consistent, skilled leader on the court.

Thank you for your attention and consideration.

  • Evaluation: *Top 10 Performer* Clark was the surprise of the day. When I tell you that this kid is sneaky athletic. During his second game, he had an incredible poster dunk going straight off two feet; he did not even have his momentum in his favor. That dunk sent the gym into a frenzy. He followed that up with an insane alley-oop conversion. Not only is he a good athlete, but Clark is really solid fundamentally. He moves well without the ball, crashes the boards, and hustles after loose balls. I think he is most effective when he gets the ball in the paint due to his athleticism and soft touch. Clark definitely turned some heads Sunday.

  • Evaluation: Clark is a player that will give all-out effort whenever he’s on the court. He’s got a good sense of when to change speeds when handling the ball. He uses his craftinesses to get to the basket where he’s an excellent playmaker. Clark’s ability to change pace and direction with the ball in his hands is a sight to see. He likes to penetrate the defense and finish at the rim. Clark also demonstrated his ability to create for his teammates too.

  • Evaluation: Will Clark had an excellent day from the field as his hot shooting paced his unit. The CHESS Academy guard made the most of his opportunities as his movement without the ball put him in great situations. As he ran out in transition, he was able to find space behind the line and relocate before anyone can key in on him. Some nice finishes at the rim after breaking down his matchup proved that he is was far from some one trick pony.
