Jalen Brown '17 Recruiting Profile

I first fell in love with basketball when I started playing recreation ball at the age of 7. I had played football and track for awhile but when I first played basketball,  I realize that this was the sports for me. Through playing basketball I learn that I am stronger than I realize. I realize through hard work that anything is possible in this sport. Through my hard work, I have become a great ball handler and I am consuming to work on my game in shooting. 

I would love to get a degree in sports medicine or engineering after high school. I am a good candidate for your team because I am a hard worker. I have to be because people underestimate me and I am always working to be better than the game or practice before.  I am a team player. As point guard I make sure to get my team mates involved. I was raised by my mother who is a Christian so she has instilled those values in me that I hold dear. I am always teachable because I want to learn as much about basketball as possible. I am committed to keeping my grades up and furthering my education. I also have a little brother who looks up to me, so I continue to try to be a good role model for him.
