My name is Shiloh Andersen, a dedicated basketball enthusiast and proud member of the graduating class of 2026 from Hawaii Preparatory Academy on the Big Island of Hawaii. Growing up in such a vibrant and diverse environment has shaped my perspective and fueled my passion for learning and community engagement. My goals and aspirations for college would be to play on a dedicated, hard-working basketball team while finishing all 4 years of college. As I enter my junior year of high school, I am a great candidate for your team because I strive to grow in the sport and work toward any goal I set for myself. My top goals currently are to push myself to secure a starting varsity basketball position this season by practicing my skills, eating healthy, and working on my physical fitness, continue to strengthen skills on my club team, and make the honor roll at school. As a junior, I am increasing my academic rigor by taking an AP US History class and an honors chemistry class. I will always be working my mind and body focusing on whatever it takes to be the best well-rounded athlete I can be. Other recruits work hard, but I am willing to work harder in my sport and education.
