Excel Jury '24 Recruiting Profile

I aspire to get a higher education at a college or university while playing the sports that I love. I have many things that I would like to study and am working on narrowing it down to one. I will be using my junior year to look into my educational options so that I can make a more focused plan. I would be a great candidate for a college athlete because I am smart, I am committed to my work and I am a great teammate. I have the athleticism to compete at a higher level and the work ethic to commit myself to a regimen that pushes my limits on and off the court. I believe my character sets me a part. I am a team player who is always willing to be there when my teammates need help. I am a man of my word and committed to being someone of integrity. When I say I am going to be there, I will. As a student athlete, I have been committed to achieving success in the classroom and in athletics. I have managed to keep a 4.0 GPA and play sports year round. This is proof that I have learned how to prioritize my time to ensure that I am excelling in the areas that I apply myself.  Besides my commitment to sports, I serve in my community through service projects such as clean ups and food distributions. This has taught me that community is important. I love my community, Waiʻanae, and want to make something of myself so that I can come back and give back! As a young native Hawaiian, I have a responsibility to educate, to empower myself so that I can help make a positive impact on others like me. I long to play college sports because I love to compete. I love to be a part of a team that is committed to a common goal. I am excited to play at the collegiate level so that I can do what I love and earn a degree that will further myself as an individual not just for myself but for my family and community.
