My collegiate goals are to continue my academic education as an accounting major while also continuing to play basketball at a college level and contribute to a teams success.
I consider myself a team oriented player due to our overall team size in high school, I learned to be a versatile player. I was sometimes assigned to cover opposing teams best low post player and in the very next game I could possibly be assigned to guard the team’s best perimeter player. This versatile continued on offense where I learned good post up moves while still being effective outside the three.
I believe the ability to play multiple sports in high school included basketball, baseball, golf, and football, separates me from other athletes. As previously mentioned my versatility showed up in basketball where I was able to play shooting guard, and still be called upon to play a post player when needed. I played multiple positions in baseball including pitcher and short stop, and in football often times I was called upon to play both sides of the ball throughout the game which included wide receiver and defensive back. I was the team captain in basketball, and held various lead roles in the other sports I played. I believe the ability to be versatile and the ability to lead separates me from other athletes. In academic I was on the National Honor roll throughout my high school career, as well honor level classes, and college level classes.
