Abraham (Abe) Held '24 Recruiting Profile

As a guard, Abraham has next-level athleticism.  What he lacks in size he makes up for with tenacity and skill.  He has a desire to get better and compete against the best competition available at the next level.  Besides being an academic all-state, Idahosports.com DII State Tournament 6th man of the year and 2nd team all-district performer in his junior year, He and his teammates had the lowest opponent point total in all classifications in the State of Idaho last year (29 points per game). In addition, if you combine that defensive speed, lights-out shooting, and his quick release he is going to win most games he competes in. He gets out into transition really fast.  Abe and the teams he's played on since youth have a habit of winning.  Abraham is a quiet leader, a coach on the floor, and a team-first player.  He will put the team first...always! He is unique and stands out off the basketball court as well.  He is bilingual (Spanish) and spent a year of his childhood in Merida Mexico.  This summer he represented the American Falls Legion and participated in and graduated from Boys State in Meridan Idaho.
