Austin Ambrose '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a hardworking student athlete, both on the court and in the classroom.  I desire to play for a program with a solid basketball team and a good business program.  I have an unselfish playing style and am willing to do whatever is needed to help my team win.  I am a high character person and believe hard work is vital to be successful in sports and in life.  From a basketball perspective, I am currently a 6'9 left handed forward with excellent inside and outside shooting ability and excels in the open court.  My athleticism allows me to guard anyone on the floor, either through my quickness or length.  I have never seen myself as bigger than the team, rather I am a team oriented player who does not have to score 20 points each game to feel good about my performance as long as the team wins. I would like to attend a school with a strong academic reputation in addition to a strong reputation for helping students land good jobs after graduation.
