Austin Ford '20 Recruiting Profile

From the moment I stepped on to the park district basketball court at the age of five, I fell in love with the game of basketball.  It's my goal to play basketball at the college level along with creating an opportunity inside the classroom to be able to learn sports marketing or management so I can be a coach or assist in coaching in my future.  I want to make a difference in more than my own career I want to be able to guide other athletes to succeed as well.  Not only do I strive to be a good player, I strive at being the athlete that coaches like to coach and being a good teammate.  I attentively listen and work on the skills being asked of me.  There is not a day that goes by that I'm not practicing my dribbling, shooting or watching film of professional ball players.  I also like to help younger players learn their position and develop their game by being a positive role model and team player. 

I'm a strong student and maintain A's & B's in the classroom.  Currently I'm enrolled in two honors classes this year (sophomore) and I currently have a cumulative GPA of 3.48
