Ever since I was little there was always this idea of a "leader board" in my brain. If I worked, put time into my game, then I moved up the leader board, because if I didn't I feared that I would be losing ground and not making any positive movement towards my dream of being the best basketball player I could be. As I got older, I realized that everything I do, from eating, sleeping, my academics, EVERYTHING was a down payment on achieving my goals. Ultimately, I want to be the best basketball player, student, man that I can be. My family has always gone above and beyond to support me and I appreciate everything they have done to be there for me. I want to succeed for myself, but also for them. I know that effort, giving everything I have, is where true success comes from and that is my goal in everything that I do. I am a hardworking student and I excel in science courses and I am proud of the fact that I have become a very strong writer. In the end, what makes me stand out as a player but more importantly as a man, is my character. I have a strong sense of right and wrong. I feel that through lifting others up we all achieve more. I have very little interest in anything other than the TEAM game of basketball, which when played right, is the most beautiful thing. There is something incredible about a beautiful pass; when played right the game almost slows down and when teammates work together they can create the most incredible opportunities for each other to score. I love to drain the three, take it to the basket and score, and set up my team mates to score with my high IQ and court vision. Basketball gives me the opportunity to play a game that I love while having the full depth of the quality of my character on display.
