  • Midwest Prospect Academy was established in August of 2019 by combining the two premier programs in Central IL (Illinois Irish & Quad City Elite). Both the Illinois Irish & Quad City Elite programs are recognized 501C3 Not For Profit Organizations. MidPro Academy is an exciting opportunity that helps promote both athletics and academics to Central Illinois and Eastern Iowa Area Athletes. With a combined 25 years of experience (IL Irish 15 years & QCE 10 years), MidPro Academy Program has provided young athletes (from over 100 different high schools & 5 different states) with an opportunity to compete in nationally recognized basketball tournaments which college coaches and scouts from across the country attend. The program helps those involved to grow as individuals on and off the court by helping them understand and develop qualities such as: dedication, commitment, work ethic, teamwork, toughness, strategy, perseverance, sacrifice, and professionalism. MidPro Academy is comprised of at least 25-35 teams every year that represent Central Illinois, Metro East/ St Louis, and Eastern Iowa's best athletes in both boys’ and girls’ basketball. Each team will play in approximately 30-40 games during their seasons with events taking place in Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Texas, and Wisconsin. Through the development we provide, the schedule we play, and the success of our teams, Mid-Pro Academy is proud to say that all 300+ players produced (2009-Present) have or will attend college upon graduation from High School. Every single one of those players has had the opportunity to play collegiate basketball. The program has helped produce over twenty five million dollars ($25,000,000) in athletic scholarships and athletic grants for our players in our 15 graduating classes (2009-Present). We focus on continuing to make that amount climb every year and help these young athletes to use basketball as a tool to further their education after high school. "Athletes of today that become leaders of tomorrow." We have had players from the following high schools: Peoria Area: (Woodruff, Central, Notre Dame, Manual, Richwoods, Limestone, IVC, Morton, East Peoria, Metamora, Pekin, Washington, Dunlap, Farmington, Canton, Elmwood, Illini Bluffs, Midland, Henry, Fieldcrest, Midwest Central, Brimfield, Lewistown, Tremont, Delevan, Stark County, DeeMack, Princeville) Quad Cities/Galesburg Area: (Rock Island, United Township, Rock Falls, Galesburg, Macomb, Orion, Rockridge, Illini West, Monmouth-Roseville, Quincy ND, Quincy, Southeastern, Erie, Knoxville, Prairie Bushnell, Brown County, Geneso, Abington, Kewanee, Sterling-Newman, Sterling, Alleman) Springfield Area: (Springfield High, Lanphier, Southeast, Sacred Heart Griffin, Lincoln, Chatham Glenwood, Riverton, Pleasant Plains, Williamsfield, Jacksonville, Springfield Lutheran, Springfield Calvary, Edinburg, Athens, Porta, Sangamon Valley, Taylorville, West Central, Hillsboro, Lincolnwood, Litchfield) Bloomington/Normal Area: (Central Catholic, Normal Community, Bloomington High, Normal West, U-High, Tri Valley, Prairie Central, Pontiac, Dwight, Cornerstone Christian, LeRoy, Olympia, Iroquois West, El Paso Gridley) Champaign/Decatur: (Champaign Centennial, Champaign Central, Urbana, MacArthur, Eisenhower, St. Thomas More, St. Teresa, Rantoul, Mahomet-Seymour, Danville, St. Joseph-Ogden, Warrensburg, Maroa-Forsyth, Macon Meridian, Monticello, Fisher, Tolono Unity, Clinton, Shelbyville, Charleston, Casey-Westfield, Effingham, Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley, Decatur Lutheran, Central A&M) Around /North of I-80: (Chicago De La Salle, LaSalle-Peru, St. Bede, Newark, Byron, Ottowa, Dixon, Dekalb, Libertyville, Stevenson, Rockford Guilford, Waubonsie Valley, Princeton, Bishop MacNamara, Bradley Bourbonnais, Willowbrook) Metro East/South Area: (Robinson, Alton Marquette, Edwardsville, Collinsville) Iowa: (Bettendorf, Clinton, North Scott, Durant, Pleasant Valley, Assumption, Lin-Marr, Camanche, Wahlert, Marquette Catholic) Missouri: (Highland, Palmyra) Indiana: (Lawrence North) Michigan: (Saline)

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
