I am a 5'’11 sophomore from Decatur, Il, and my position is point/shooting guard. I play as a starting point guard/ shooting guard at the varsity level for Eisenhower High School. I have a 2.5 GPA, and I'm continuing to work hard at raising my GPA.
Basketball is a sport I love and always aspiring to play at an elite level. As a leader on the Varsity team I continue to push myself, for example contacting my coach whenever possible, so I can utilize the weight room or get up extra shots. I shoot over 300 shots a day just always trying to perfect my skills. I train hard on a daily basis, along with working on skill development with a personal athletic trainer, so I've earned every opportunity I receive. I continue to challenge myself with the goal of receiving a scholarship from a high level college program, which will also allow me to obtain an elite education in business.
I pride myself on being an unselfish player, and I enjoy some of my individual achievements, but my satisfaction comes from my team's success. I can't do what I do without my team. It's really about the team and working together to succeed. I've come across a lot of adversity, but I don't allow that to distract me from goal of receiving a scholarship from a DI or DII college/university. I'm open to positive opportunities, which will allow me to continue to grow as a leader academically and athletically.
