I’d like to begin by saying I know you have a lot of options, so I want to say thanks for checking out my profile.
I am set apart as a person and as a player. You should choose me because my love and passion for the game of basketball, as a player and student, makes me a great recruit and player. I strive to be the best version of myself on and off the court each and everyday. I am and will continue to be a person & player who others can look up to.
I am versatile and can play any style of ball. I am smart and a fast learner. I am a dog on the court and am selfless. I do whatever it takes and play whatever role necessary for my team to be successful.
I want to attend a college to pursue a degree in Business and/or Sports Management. Although when I was younger, my grades weren’t a priority to me, I have matured, am focused and learned that they should have been. I have a 2.93 GPA and am working really hard to improve upon that this year. My goal is to end the year with at least a 3.1. I currently have straight A grades and my classes are not easy. I am focused now and my priorities are my grades and basketball. My goal is to be the first male college graduate in my family and someday coach basketball. I have high expectations for my level of performance in the classroom and on the court. I want to experience the intensive preparation, high level of competition and expectations as a collegiate player. I bring to the game of basketball, a great passion and commitment.
I am a great teammate and leader. I am a TRUE point guard. I have high basketball IQ, elite ball-handling skills, quickness, court vision/ passing skills, mid-range shooting, and am solid defensively. I can thrive in an open court slashing and thrashing and I can knock down shots in half court play. I do all of the things that stats won’t show that are sometimes overlooked- take charges, block out for teammates to rebound, dive for loose balls and speak life into my teammates. I work hard everyday on my game. All of these things, plus my coachability, sets me apart from other players. Although I am 6 feet tall (my height and weight are my real height and weight) and 153 pounds, I have a high vertical and am very strong. I truly believe in myself and my abilities.
I am an active member of my church and a follower of Christ. I am also the co-captain of my basketball teams this year- school and AAU. I made All Conference Honorable Mention (2023 Sophomore Year), All Conference 2nd Team (2024 Junior Year) and All Tournament team (2024 junior year). I am looking for a program that will make me better as well as a ball player because I want to grow.
I would really like a shot to prove that I am your guy. I promise that you will not regret it. Thanks in advance.
