Amari Yarbrough '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Amari Yarbrough.  I want to grow as a basketball player and learn more about the game.  My future goals in basketball are to win a state championship in high school, get a scholarship for college, lead my team to the March Madness Tournament, win the National Championship, and eventually get drafted into the NBA.  I am a good candidate for your team because not only am I a coachable player but also I am a team player. You can’t win anything without your team. What makes me different from other players is that although I am right-handed, I shoot with my left hand and I believe that gives me an advantage over other players. It‘ll be hard for them to guard me. I also work hard on the court and off the court.  I am a honor roll student and currently have a 3.3 GPA out of a 5.0 scale. For me, to be a successful student athlete, academics should always come first.
