I’ve looked at adversity straight in the eyes with respect and confidence.  By remaining positive and optimistic, I’ve learned that I can overcome any obstacle.  Through my high school experience as a dedicated / motivated / hard-working student and basketball player, I’ve learned that success is achievable with discipline / persistence / perseverance / time management.  I always welcome and enjoy challenge as a means to improve myself as a person, student, and basketball player.

I have been told by well experienced professionals and AAU coaches that I have a natural ability for the game of basketball and that I am trainable for having an aptitude for the game.  With my strong work ethic and passion for the game, I am committed to pushing myself to always improve and get better both in the classroom and on the court.  I understand how to prioritize my time and stay focused on the things that matter most in life now and in my future.

I look forward to being a part of a college basketball team where I can contribute all of these skills and continue to learn and expand my abilities as a person, student, and basketball player.
